Beautiful iris against the black. It's stunning! The border doesn't do anything for my personal tastes. I think this flower holds its own without the border.

A lovely capture of this beautiful iris. The colours and placement of the flower is exceptional. I am also not sure of the framing - maybe a bit heavy for the dainty composition. Perhaps just using a fine line from the colours (blue or gold) of the flower can work better. I like what ShellyOB did in her workshop.

Hi Gil,
This looks like a Japanese iris as opposed to the bearded iris variety. The dark b/g really accentuates its beauty and simplicity. Very elegant. Best regards, Danilo
