[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A change from wildlife for today.
This is Hallsands, well whats left of it anyway, this used to be a small fishing village and at one time had two rows of fishermans cottages and was about 100 yards from the sea, in 1906 shingle from the Skerries bank was dredged up to help build Devonport dockyard, unfortunately one night in a bad storm the sea took the beach away and the cottages with it, this is all that is left and it is unfortunately too dangerous to get down to the old village, this shot was taken from a viewing platform that has been built on the cliff.

Thanks to all who view and comment on my pictures.

Hi Andy,
Although the place is wonderful and the composition is fine, I have the impression the picture has some lack of contrast. It's if there is veil of haze over the image. So made a WS to show what I mean. Overall it's still a fine posting my friend.
