Good morning Peeps

This is the second in the mini series of shots I took at the local country park on Sunday. In contrast to yesterday's shot here I have focused more on the BG and I would be interested to see which of the two shots you prefer and why. I personally think I prefer this one for the sky as I love the grey detailed tones in the stormy sky. However, the Cow parsley in the foreground here is now quite distracting compared to yesterdays shot where the sky was out of focus. So two very similar images and yet todays shot looks like a quick snap.. I hope this helps you too see how important it is to take in the whole view when your setting up a shot and here for example I should have laid on top of the cow parsely lol.

No PP work aside from the framing in Photofiltre. Today I chose a contrasting white frame to give the image a modern look. I will post the third and last shot tomorrow. All three shots were taken consecutively so see and show the variety of effects from the camera settings.

TTFN and many thanks for the visit

kind regards Smurfie

Morning Helen ;)))
Have a nice day,
J ;)

Hi Blondie
Another cracking shot with lovely colours and well framed. I'm afraid I prefer yesterdays, I find the the defocussed plants a little distracting. Anyway, back to the sunrise question !!!!!
Cheers
Pez

I do love sunsets, but in all honesty, I much prefer the one with the foreground flower in focus. With the oof focus flower here, it simply seems (maybe only to me) as if the flowers got in the way - as if the photographer would have been better off to move a little forward past the flowers -- in other words a mere snapshot instead of a fine composition

Silke

Hello Helen,

I must say, without a doubt, that yesteredays shot appealed to me much more.
Like Silke, I felt as if the flowers got in the way of your shot of the sunset!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Helen,
I must say I prefer the previous shot mainly because a significant portion of the frame was devoted to the cow parsley, and there was good sharpness on the plant and the beautiful sky was an adornment. Both are attractive, and I am glad you posted them. Greetings! Danilo

Hello Helen!
Wonderful sunset! Beautiful colors, lights and silhouettes!
TFS, Best regards, Zorica

Love this one too.
I prefer the previous one because it is different.
I like the sharpness and details on this one on the sky but I feel it is more common.
