Hiya Jane

What a little darling he is! and its nice to see you leaving more space around the subject too. We can still see him and the detail clearly but he looks like he has room to move within the image which somehow gives him more life.. Now then I think there is a small problem here as he has such stunning colours its difficult to see if his rump is white or ifs its an OE section on the shot.. solution here would be to shoot him in full shade.. in fact one of the first critiques I ever received on Tl was to that effect, I posted an image of my chocolate lab and the advice has stuck with me to this day.

Once again I hope you will forgive my blunt honesty but you have such beautiful animals there to photograph that I just cant help but give an honest opinion.
