| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This started out as a normal snapshot of Steep Hill in the Roman city of Lincoln.
Tinkering: grey scale, used the 'photcopy' filter in Photoshop CS, then used the 'fresco' filter... then had to shrink it beyond recognition to get it within the 200k file size limit for TL :D
It's one of my first attempts using Photoshop CS so comments for/against I will appreciate.
* A down-sized colour version is now in the workshop for comparison (17.06.08)*
Have a great day everyone :) |

hi symon,
interesting experiment here, be good to see original in a WS.
good pov, looking up the hill, and looks like good detail on the buildings and signs etc..
cheers....harry
I thought it turned out interesting, I have the same type of thing in my program but haven't tried it yet. Seems to work well in architectural things. TFS

Hi Symon
Like the effect resembles a pencil drawing, try the same filters but first make a copy of the original by layers / new layer via copy then do the PP work on the copy, you then can blend your filtered copy with the original for a different more varied effect.
I have some examples on my page
