Damsel Flies
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Close to my home is a wildlife reserve called Sywell Country Park.
When I was there this weekend there was a massive hatch of Damsel Flies. Everywhere you walked, you stirred up clouds of little electric blue darts, about 3cm long.
They are the males. The females are much plainer, and harder to see, but come in a variety of colours. |

Hi Andy
A superb photograph. These two are mating !! Very well composed. I would have liked to see more image and less border. For the image well done.
