Windows in Corfe

A contribution to Smurfie's Friday's theme "windows". These two people were strolling through the streets of Cofe on a bright sunny day. The contrast is quite harsh, took the picture at midday so the shadows are clearly seen on the paveway. The dog had apparently other thoughts regarding the direction to go.

Good morning Hansie

What a pretty view, I wonder if they are deciding what to have for lunch?. Nice POV here looking down and good detail in the stone building too.

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

Vestje, hoedje, hondje, oude stenen, uithangbord - ja Hans dit lijkt me echt Engels.

Perfect light and shadow picture, Hans.
You did it 'your' way.

I think they got caught by the words - FREE HOUSE.
You must have been in a building opposite this one. Interesting POV Hans,

Hoi Hans,

Mooie foto!

Groetjes, Nel

Hi Hans

A good downward pov, with superb colour, contrast, & sharpness. The people & dog, add scale. The 3 windows (& 2 doors) make a fine addition to the theme. Tfs!

Hallo Hans. Erg goed gezien.

I do not know where were you while taking this photo. Interesting perspective. I love the contrast dark/light and the texture of the stones of the building and the floor. Great composition. Funny how her red shoes match the door in the right, and the position of the dog trying to go somewhere else. Excellent contribution to the theme. TFS

Very fine composition, Hans. Your position from the elevated churchyard was perfect to get an unusual PoV. It is such a typical English scene: the Free House, the couple and the dog! Excellent

after watching the thumbnails in friday's theme, 12 pics with this one catched my attention, for the good subject and the fine realisation
the couple & the dog add a lot

hi Hans

Free House? Are you showing us a place in Dorset where you stayed free? Looks like you shot out of window from 2nd floor? Nice capture and contribution to window theme. I like the pots of plants hanging on walls.

Hi Hans
Nice window set. The colors, despite the strong shaodows. are very strong and vivid and I like it with the dog his way...
Have a lovely w.e.

Hoi Hans,
Uiteraard technisch weer helemaal oke.
groeten,
Joop!

Nice addition to the theme and a very interesting capture with a "what do you make of it" story possibility.
Interesting architecture and composition but I do find myself curious as to what the couple was thinking/up to...the dog clearly had enough and was looking for a tree or whatever. ;)
The contrast, for this shot I think, works well.
TFS,
Wilt
