Sowing the seeds
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Last little pic for a while, as I'm off on holiday - yay!!!
There's a farm behind my home, and recently the farmer had ploughed the field so that he could sow some seed to grow. I always find it funny, that gulls and crows always know when there's a free feed on the go...
Always makes me wonder if a farmer gets annoyed at the birds "stealing" the seeds he's just planted...?
Not much done to this, apart from a lot of cropping, too much crap in the background, and some sharpening in CS3 before resizing for TL.
C&C Welcome

Nice capture Graham very amospheric photo well done
have grt holiday
being a farm boy, I don't mind the occasional traaaactuur.. the crap in the background!!... er...not crap!!... arable agricultural landscape!! I quite like this actually, the diagonals are quite interesting and the heavy cropping has given it a differing POV...
hello Graham
wonderful daily life shot
its amazing how the predators are already there to have seeds behind the tractor.
so the basics are the same, i too have seen farmers doing the same way, though the design and the shape of the tractors are different.
nice shot, thanks for showing us the field of your place.
hi G,
nice farm landscape, reminds me of the eric cantona rant about boats and seagulls following..lol..
good earthy colours and good detail at the distance..#
