Good conrasting colors here and nice sharp capture.
When I look at it though I find I wish it was originally shot a bit tighter to bring more attention to the canoes than to the ramp and water fowl.

The bright canoes caught my attention in the thumbnail. I do think I would do a closer crop of the canoes to showcase their brilliant colors.

I like this photo. The composition works and the colors are nice, except for the blue kayak. The tip is a bit washed out from the harsh light. Perhaps as Wilt said, it could have been cropped in a bit but I like it.
I wonder how the shot would look in black and white.
Nevertheless, nice presentation.

hello Peter,
A well composed picture picking up on the bright colours of the canoes. I like the solitary swimming duck as it brteaks up the strectch of water and acts as a counterpoint to the bulk and colour of the canoes.
