[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's a look at a very rare cloud formation called banded altocumulus, or as many fisherman call it "mackerel sky" due to its resemblence to the pattern on the skin of the fish.

I laid on my back trying not to shoot the tips of my toes for this shot as I intended to make the clouds the main subject.

You may have seen an earlier post of this in landscape and black and white. Let me know what you think of this one.

Thanks for looking.

Regards,

TW

Hi Tim,

It can be seen that sky and clouds are the main subject of this photograph, they made excellend optical effect, fantastic view. Simple composition on ground doesn,t disturb the view. Well done
cheers
Adrian

hello Tim.
hard to decide which I prefer, this or the b & white. Perhaps this on balance. I like the portrait format as it gives a good idiea of the depth of the cloud formation...it seems to go on and on.It is as if the building is some gimant shaker of clouds, scattering them far. But I like the drama of the B & W.
Bev

Nice framing, proportions between earth(or rather water) and sky work good here. The clouds seem to be alive - or come they from the top of the building? I like the effect.
Best regards
Joanna
