Hey bb (big bro),
I like the composition and I think the trees work well to frame the subject. The cathedral itself though looks a little flat - perhaps this is an aspect of HDR images, especially daytime images. I've tried this with daytime images and always get a flat result. More practise I think!
Anyway, keep up the good work.

Lovely pic of my favourite place and it shows the buttresses well. How's the statue of Elgar? How did you manage to combine the images? Is that St Andrew's tower behind the RH tree? The workshop is interesting but loses some of the clarity and colour of the sky and I like the framing of the trees on both sides in the original. The WS does bring more colour to the cathedral image but at the expense of the rest of the pic.

Bonjour David,
Belle vue de cette jolie cathédrale, sous un ciel d'artiste et encadrée de juste ce qu'il faut de verdure pour la valoriser!
C'est du trés beau travail!!!

Hi, David,
My compliments for this shot, which is genuinely an architectural one to present the facade, the curved window framing and the play of the light and shadow.
The chosen POV is successfully defined.
Very nice to look at.

Hi David,
Very impressive post processing work you have done! Three exposures in one??? Wow, do I have a lot to learn.
I'm in to the "more contrast" in photofiltre, so I did a workshop for you. It may have brightened up the sky and tree too much, but I like the effect on the cathedral details.
Just a variation for you. Lisa :D

Hello David.
Interesting story and a perfect work on this picture.
Complements.!
Only thing, when you made so much work on it, why not at 800 pixels, with some more bytes ?
Nevertheless, gorgeous.

Hi David
Nice choice of angle to show the line closer to sky. As those churches were built in the same concept to moved eyes toward the sky to be more closer to GOG.
