[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A nice summer evening in Norwich

After my dinner yesterday evening, I made a walk along the river in Norwich, ending up behind the play grounds behind the Cathedral. There I found these young men playing the typical and royal game of cricket Well with the sun setting on the right side it wasn't easy to get a clear picture. In fact the light was terrible but took some shots from different POV's. It particular the scene which I like and that's why I posted it.

If you disagree, that's fine but let me know what and how to improve.

PP work
Cropped image, selected dark areas, increased brightness and after that the contrast slightly. Increased contrast and saturation of the whole picture, than adjusted gamma correction.
Add frame, resized and sharpened.

Eerlijk gezegd vind ik dit er ietwat onnatuurlijk uit zien...
Dat neemt overigens niet weg, dat het een heerlijk ontspannen plaatje is. Prachtige omgeving en een mooie lucht, maar NET iets teveel....
Ik denk, dat je hier misschien met een SND filter heel goed uit de verf zou zijn gekomen! Dat zorgt ervoor dat de lucht contrast houdt, terwijl je ook op de voorgrond detaisl houdt...
Als je zo'n filter nog niet hebt, zou ik dat heel snel opnemen in de Cokin serie... 20 euri geloof ik! ;-)

Mooi stemmig plaatje met die Cricket players in front.
Het blader dak geeft het een mooie diepte en het warm getinte wolkendek maken het af.
De witte binnenrand had wat mij betreft smaller gekunt, toch ?

Hoi Hans,

I start playing cricket in my middle sshool and had a bouncer which imposed a mark on my chin, since then I did not touch cricket haha. But basketball is my all time favourite and even I have been playing the university as well.

The image in view is taken from a beautiful point of view. Seems like there is a spin baller, as noticed by his style. Nice enven hue in the atmosphere is great. A beautiful shot my friend, well done.

I DO love these late evening shots, with the orange light and all. The only thing I would have done different is maybe not SO much saturation, the sky seems to be blasted out. I'll drag into WS to see what I can do with it. This actually is the BEST time of the day for shots here!

i like the PP work friend. i can understand the condition of the light at the moment.
nice POV. you must be aware that we Indians are crazy about cricket, we have a final match left with Srilanka in Asia cup this sunday. we hope to win the cup. lets see how our player are going to play.

What a superb composition my friend. A very typical English country scene, lovely natural framing with the tree at the top and a beautiful view with excellent colour and details. I think this is wonderful and as per your notes I think you would stuggle to improve it ;-)
