[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
i liked the vibrancy of this red gazania flower but the background was a mess and i wanted it to stand out alone. the best way in this case was to select the flower and paste it onto a neutral backdrop. i find sometimes it is quite hard to get the edges to look natural so if anyone has a good technique, do let me know. as it was it was a good exercise for me.

Hi Sue. Nice shot, excellent colours. I would have cropped tighter at the bottom to loose the blurry petals, but thats my take on an excellent shot.

Sue this is a spectacularly colorful image. It is a toss up between your original and the WS. I think you did a first rate job cutting and pasting. Wouldn't have known if you hadn't mentioned. If there is a better way I havn't discovered it yet. TFS
