Close up of a thistle bud... not certain of the species, but it's about 8 ft tall and still growing...this bud is but one of dozens growing on it.... image just sharpened and a bit of saturation added. No other PP work

Shot in RAW, hand held, flash fill used.

ISO 100, shutter 1/200, F-stop f18.
