Just one more plane shot for Smurfies theme, this is the Typhoon just being guided to it's alloted parking area after an awesome display, don't ask why but I chose to keep the yellow jackets and chute in colour with the rest desaturated.

Thanks to all who view and comment on my pictures.

Andy,
I like the extra space to the left. I won't ask about "why you kept the yellow jackets and chute in colour". It looks good and gives you a sense of safety. I also like how you didn't chop off the tall tree! Congrats for being brave enough to keep it. I do think many people will say they would have clipped it. I wouldn't have!
I also see you used the same method of painting black on the layers in photoshop that I use.
Well done my friend,
Scott

Hi Andy,

Nice choice for the theme. I think it was a wise choice to choose the yellow jackets in color as I certainly would want to be seen if I were directing the planes!! I would have left the chute black and white just to show how importance the guys, but that's just my personal preference.

Nice interesting composition with the plane, trees, etc... Well done. Lisa

Hi Andy,
Excellent catch and Desaturation of the picture of the EuroFighter, Beautiful picture nicely composed and presented, lovely contrast in Black and White,
Very well done.
Michel

Hi Andy,
Fully agree with Scott's observation ragarding space and crop! Well chosen and I like the yellow, it creates also a certain depth in this image. Excellent posting for the theme!
Hans

Perfect composition and well executed. Not a bad shot for a canon (so to speak) LOL...
Cheers
David

Thomas

Really nice image. I guess your intention were remark the work of that crew. The result is a simple image that speack by itself. Well done

Mario

Hello Andy,

Hello Andy,

I like your shot of the Typhoon.
The whole composition seems very nicely balanced.
I think I would have coloured the plane, since that is the focal point but ... maybe it was already grey!

Have a good weekend,
Bev :-)

Oh, how lucky you are to have access to such a beast.
I know the tele lens forshortens the image, that guy looks to be in danger of being sucked in;)
Good choice picking out the yellow jackets and chute, well seen Andy.
Pete.

Andy Hi;
I like the POV and especially the way you have presented the Desaturations and Colors. Congraulations, very well done and thanks for the note.

Hi Andy, this is a great shot, I see the engine is still running, the heat haze off the back gives it away.

Hiya Andy
