Hi Silke,
This is a great shot of a lovely place, what I would give to live in a house like that. The scenery around this house looks fantastic as well, great place for photography.

Hi Silke,
Excellent capture, dispite the dull sky (which in fact belong to the English landscape, isn't it) a superb composition. The lines of the rock walls, the roof shapes, it all creates afine well balanced composition. Great light a breath the countryside mood.
Excellent presentation too!

hello Silke
I hope you recover strongly soon. Yes, I believe your photo has the same color tone as my S Korea post (just difference on shades of green).
And I agree, this house is simply a great 'home' and rarely can you find in Canada, at least not that I have seen in my 9 yrs there.
I can see why you are taken by this scene, it is just a 'home' we must dream about. Well done on this sharing.

good framing, that's a lovely rural house,
just my personnal taste, i'd add more contrast, it's as if there is a (not obvious) white dull in the shadows

Hello, My Friend,
This really jumped off the monitor at me!
You have made an excellent job of capturing it with absolute honesty.
The details are amazing and the light, highlighting the stonework, is great.
Kind regards,

Hello Silke !
The grass is greener in England for sure all year long. Correction , everything is greener in England (LOL !) , The stones, the trees, the gardens, etc....
Lovely set up and composition here . Great to see some life here with the collaboration of the neighbour (^_^).
Well done !

Bonsoir Silke,
authentic is the first word that comes to mind when I see your POV. Rural, the house is beautiful in this light that you knew captured with its stone wall in front and also the head of the person you look above, we must really look to see. As the man continued his journey.
Beautiful and a great background perceptive, very sharp with the far the cattle. The colors are great. Bravo!
Best regards,
Corinne

This is what I think of when I think "English countryside." Stone farmhouses and stone walls, a serene, rugged, enduring beauty. Lovely light, lovely scenery, nicely composed ... although once I see that face over the wall watching, it's impossible to ignore again. ;)

Hi Silke
It looks like one neighbour has his eye on you, while the older man is turning his back to you - he didn't want his photo taken!
Very interesting architecture, so solid and strong. It looks a large building, and the lighting is good too,

Hello Silke
Oh this place looks so amazing and untouched by the modern man! I love the look of the old stones.. Also the man looking over the wall.. He has not clue why you are taking photos! lol

Lovely Silke and so very English. Good colour and detail and your framing really sets this one off. I see some replacement of shingles has been carried out.

Hi Silke,
Lovely view indeed ,i like the play of light on the sturdy walls and as evening light goes it is great , the two persons in the picture are a nice addition , the house is huge and i appreciate how you filled the frame with it and left some greenery in both fore and backgrounds . Love your frame too ,
TFS,
Carol

Nice warm pastoral scene. I really like the crop you did here with the positioning and view of the stone wall being just enough to pull the eye into the main part of the photo.
The soft lighting and muted colors add such warmth and a sense of beauty to this that it comes across as a very idyllic location.
I agree, would be nice to live in a place like this.
Thanks for the view,
Wilt

Hi Silke,
I love this shot. The details in the house are excellent. How nice is all that stone. The rolling hills in the BG are wonderful. I live in a rural area but it doesn't look like this. Great capture and nice work.
Regards,
Kevin
