[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
here is something different a textural close up of an amonite taken through a museum glass case.i was able to sit the lens directly on top of the case which acted like a tripod for the slow shutter and moved it around for a pleasing composition.
i cloned in part of another which was cut and polished in the centre for added interest. the workshop shows a negative of this image which alters the colour and perspective of the shell and is interesting to compare side by side.
the white balance was adjusted to compensate for the yellow colour cast indoor lights create.
i am back onto my flowers tomorrow.

Very clever PP work Sue. You have cloned in the centre piecereally well. The outer pattern on the amonite - has it is painted on the original?

Well Sue this is a diversion from the actual flowers. The image is kind of flowery though. Resembles natures staircase. Interesting color tones on your macro.
