Hiya Hansie
Asbolutely stunning! lovely formation and beautifully shot with good sharp detail and colour. I am quite envoius as I have spent the last two days trying to shoot a number of aircraft that are based here at RAF Coningsby and so far they have all avoided me, every time Sm urfie goes out with the camera they all dissapear lol.
TFS this lovely capture
kind regards Smurfie

Hi Hans,
Great work my friend, this must have been great to see and you have captured it well with good colours, looking at them against the sky you can see why they were painted that colour.
Well done and I look forward to more from Duxford.

These are really superb captures - all three sharp and clean and well positioned within the frame.
When I watched the old timers fly in the air show last year, they brought tears to my eyes, especially when they fly alongside our modern fighters. This image brings those emotions back to the surface for me.
Superb work

hi hans.
although i am not a lover of planes i do find them interesting.
they are an amazing feat of engineering.
it would not have been possible for me to take this shot as i would need to be unconscious before going on a plane.
you have captured the formation perfectly.
i really like the sky as it helps to define the planes.
you have my respect.

Bonsoir,
Fine adjustments to ensure that the grey sky will not hampered the color of the cabin of these magnificent aircraft. High definition of clarity and sharpness of the image, which contributes to this great result.
Beautiful toys for you, no?

Hans,
What a shot from the Baron himself! Looks like you might have taken the photo from a plane just outside of the bottom frame! My dream would be to fly in one of those. :D
Very neat historic planes! The gray and gold combination of color is nice as is the sky. Good job....

Great shot - it is as if you are up in the sky with them.
As Helen has said: "Absolutely stunning!"

Hans,
Great capture of these airplanes. The detail in these planes are wonderful. The decals and the markings look perfect. They almost look like models. Great timing on the shot. Nice work Hans.

Not bad at all, Hans! :-)
The formation is excellent with the two distant planes adding depth and interest to the shot. The grey sky adds to the illusion of this being a genuine wartime shot - or a still from a war movie. Sharpness excellent - lovely image.

You know Hans, I really like the results of your 70-300 lens. Something I have noticed before in the past.
I really like the sharpness and the light here. In spite of the dark, threatening clouds there still is enough detail and contrast.
A real nice composition here... ;-)

Hi Hans,
Nice!! Really nice to see them flying side by side. Love the compo with the focus on the bigger gunner and the two little fighter jets a bit lower in focus. Nice!

Hi,
A wonderful capture.
Reminds me of those war movies.
All three nicely placed next to each other with good formation (V-formation?).
Slightly too dark, tried to brighten it up, but with little result.

Hoi Hans,
Het lijkt wel een poster ! In ieder geval heel mooi.

Hello Hans
What a stunning shot! I love he way you composed that image with the three planes. What a vantage popint you had!
A couple of years ago, I had the chance to photograph a B-17 that was recovered form the bottom of a lake in Labrador where it had landed in emergency,in winter when the lake was frozen. That was at the end of WWII. When spring came, the plane sank as you can imagine. When I saw it, it was dismanteled, placed on three floats and on its way to USA to be resaured. It was in pretty good condition considering the time it has passed in the water.
I love you series of plane
Bravo

TFS Hans !
