[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello everyone, last Sunday we were invited to go and watch our nephew training hard at his rowing.
This is the River Cam.
I had never been so close to a rowing eight before, and was very impressed when suddenly, the oarsmen put their oars into the water and started to row;the feeling of power was almost tangible!

The cox was doing a brilliant job, giving them instructions and encouragement.

I was quite pleased with the result of this shot,having to take it quite quickly,I didn't notice the reflection until I loaded the shots onto the computer.

We were sat on a bench in the beer garden of the pub.What a pleasant way to spend Sunday lunchtime.

Hi Jean, I wear prescription polarised sunglasses and I usually miss seeing the reflections when I take photos. I try and remember to take them off to see what might be there now - well, sometimes I do!

This is a well composed image - good action and colours AND reflections

This has happened to me as well, when I got home and uploaded the pictures I saw things that I hadn't seen at the time. A real bonus!! I love these reflections!! The colors are very nice. I attended a similar event in Hawaii, very exciting. TFS

Hi Jean, good focus on the eight and the four. I am more used to seeing these racing shells on the expanses of the Tamar Estuary here not in a cofined space. Good colour and light and the reflections of the sky, clouds and the eight are wonderful.

What a beautiful scene, the river, the reflections and that sky, is a picture in itself.
The two rowing skiffs add life and animation, a real bonus.
