Good Morning Everyone,

I'm sorry but will have to post this early, off on a trip today but will do my crits when I come home this evening.

I took this shot when I was in The Lakes in April. I just loved this building and it intrigued me that there were no fingers on the clock! I remember saying to my husband "Time stands still here!"

The shot was taken at a lovely place called Wray. This is part of Wray Castle. It can be found on the western of Windermere, just a little south of Ambleside.

Many thanks for stopping by.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph.

How true - good title Bev.
You've worked well on the sun and moon - maybe I might have tried slightly darkening the castle on the night side. (Just s thought)
Still nicely shown
Janice

No fingers indeed, a sure sign this clock can no longer teel the time.

Lovely idea Bev.
Hope you enjoy your trip today.

Hi Bev,
This shot brings to mind school days many years past when I was taught how to read Roman Numerals. I wonder if they bother any longer. I hope they do.
Wonderful sharp details to this old brick work to go along with crystal clear color to this fine image.
Regards, Tom

Great definition Beverly. Great work.

Hello Bev

what an excellent idea for the theme, an interesting clock face and really good PP work. I smiled at this as your clock face has no hands and my posting has only the one.

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

Hi Bev, my plan A was going to be the removal of the hands and then the warp unfortunately I couldn't get crisp edges. A well planned image you put forward for the theme, lovely textures in the old stone work and the addition of the clip art fitting. TFS,
David

Hello bev,
strange, kind of surrealistic image. i think its because of the missing hands, there is definately an unreal feel to this.Your pp work has added to this.
regards
Bev

Interesting concept for the theme , Bev. I like the half dark sky and especially the clock with no hands. Of course I also love the architecture and the beautiful old rocks with their wonderful weathering. Great idea for time stands still and lovley contribution to the theme.
Warm Regards
Wanda

Hmmm...clever and creative, making good use of the clock with no hands:) I like the details and formations in the clock structure. The sun and moon, with the split sky, are an excellent way to convey the idea of the title, and of course a perfect theme image. Well done:)

How did I miss this yesterday? This is a really nice collage for the theme! Imaginative, so sad to see the clock without hands! SO I guess time is still! Nice work Bev!
B-)

Hi Bev,
I like your PP work to show day & night and your picture suit perfectly to the theme . I like the sharp details of the maconnery building . Have a good week .
