Hi,

I took this image in April whilst on a day trip to Durham. These are the stairs to the multi-storey car park which is attached to the side of the newly built city centre shopping centre in the middle of the city.

This is the view straight down from the top floor. The shape of the stairs is basically triangular, which is really good from a POV as you have 2 sides and a base. I took this orginally in landscape and rotated into portrait to get its full impact.

What an interesting shape these stairs are. The angle gives you a good look right down to the brick floor at the bottom

This view makes a very interesting shape of the stairwell. The brain takes a few seconds to make sense of it all ... then, the revelation is pleasing! I like the converging and transversing lines.
