Several of these cannon are directly in front of Culzean Castle, I think they are very early 19th century.
I liked the lovely detail on the barrel, I stood astride
the gun carriage and went in close @16mm.

Its a pitty that the canon doesnt fit the picture. When I look on it, I feel like a shooter :)

Very nice. The composition and POV make this photo. Nice lighting and well exposed.

Wonderful shot of this beautiful canon Douglas. I really like your POV with the feeling we get of being in the shooter position. Perfect detail on it with even the spots of rust so well shown. Well done.

Nice symmetrical shot here Douglas! I like it! I'm really like the rusty patina on the metal! Your processing brought it out really nicely! HA! I'm surprised they have this thing chained, these things weigh a TON!... so how is our friend xxxx?? I hope he is getting back on soon! Tell him I miss our midnight rendevous!
