Siward's Cross
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is Siward's Cross more comonly know as Nun's Cross, you can see on the left side of the cross where it has been repaired with a metal bar after being broken in half, Siward's Cross appears in the perambulation of 1240 so it has stood the test of time quite well ,the building is what remains of the farm, it's now a bunkhouse and can be hired for use by groups who wish to stay out on the moor.
This was taken hand held and a ND8 Grad filter was used.
Thanks to all who view and comment on my pictures.
