[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sitting in my back garden today, I caught movement out the corner of my eye. After going to investigate, I ended up on hands and knees following this little guy all around the garden. I think he was camera shy!
Took loads and loads of pictures, but this is about the only one thats (nearly) in focus, the AF seemed to lock onto the background leaf in all the other shots (or in manual, Im out just a fraction - I dont have a split ring mirror for focusing...)
Anyway I'm chuffed I got to see him, as they're hard wee buggers to get a hold of

Tech: 18-55mm lens, 31mm extension tube, a little bit of sharpening, cropped and shrunk for TL

C&C welcome as always
Hairy

Was interested to check out your grasshopper photo today as I uploaded one this morning myself. I like the upright composition with him clinging to the grass. The focus is unfortunate, but we've all been there!
Nice work.
