And what a magnificent animal!
I really love swans as they are so elegant and the have such lovely curves. Like the small curves on the water. Yep... A very nice shot indeed!

HOw lovely to be able to talk about the heat!
Yes, Helen, this photograph really conveys the happiness that we have had going out and photographing again! Lovely, razor sharp details, no oe on the difficult whites wonderful contrast between the white of the swan and the dark, dappled shades of the water,a thoroughly good shot!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

This is a gorgeous pose here, nice drips off of him, a bit OE on the feathers. I did a WS trying to level it all out. White is so hard to shoot.

Hi Helen,
Really good detail in the feathers, and the swan is nicely posed, I like the drops of water from the beak.
Cheers

Indeed Helen, well worth the pain to get such a good capture - very difficult with the oily feathers and sunshine - but you managed it well.

LOvely pose captured Helen. Although Linda's workshop is good I didn't find the OE too bad. Nice detail in the feathers and the drops from the beak a nice touch.

By looking at the light, details and your note, one can feel a bit of what was going on that morning.
Well done.

hello Helen,
Such an aristocratic looking swan set off by the dark dappled water.
Lovely capture with such clarity. The water droplets are visible on the breast of the swan.
I love swans, and was out feeding them bread today.
TFS, Joni.
