Fountain by night

I saw this fountain in Dover. A friend and I had to wait for our ferry to bring as back to the continent, so we strolled through Dover, hoping to find a restaurant. On our way we stopped here and there, trying to take some photos.
As I took it when I didn't new too much about my first digital camera this is not perfect. I like it, though. I think the warm light inside the fountain, the black background and the greenish basis of the fountain give a nice image.
That camera didn't reveal its settings to me, so I am sorry about not being able to say anything about shutter speed or other details.
PP: rotated the image about 1° to the left, adjusted light and saturation slightly, cloned out some spotlights in the background, added borders

Hallo Britta,
das ist eins von der Sorte, an die man gerne zurückdenkt, weil eine schöne ERinnerung damit verbunden ist. Für eine Nachtaufnahme bei dem wenigen Licht mit so einer kleinen Kamera ist es tatsächlich gar nicht schlecht. Objektiv betrachtet - für jemanden der jetzt nur mal das Bild betrachtet - ohne deine Note, sieht es aber doch sehr flach aus.
Man erkennt fast nichts, hat keinerlei größenvergleich und es könnte auch von der ersten Marslandung stammen. Da hilft auch der passende Rahmen nicht wirklich weiter.
Deshalb gibts von mir nur den kleinen Smile.
