Hi,
Another image from the session I had in my home studio. This is my daughter's other friend who modeled for me, Caitlan.
No retouching, slight tweak with the levels and a tight crop.
Thanks for visting,
take care

Olá John,

congratulations!

Hi John,
In my opinion a good shot with room for improvement.
The pose seems a little wierd or awkward. It looks like the photo was taken while the model was moving but I cannot tell what movement she was doing. I think the hand in the bottom of the frame should be either included or exluded entirely.
For the lighting I'm guessing a single softbox up and slightly left of camera? I'd suggest to add a second light source to separate her from the background by adding a rim light to her hair. I think that backlighting her flowing hair would give a nice effect other than add to the separation.
To me it seems a little under exposed. I don't know if that was the specific look you were going for. I loaded the photo into PS and a quick glance at the histogram shows that there is room to improve the highlights if you want to.
Anyways, all of this is just my own opinion and writing these critiques like this helps me improve my own photography so don't take it personally :)
Great shot!
Bonjour John

hello John
how are you?
this is a nice portrait of a young lady.
i like the style of the model here. i dont find anything wrong in the movement infact it adds an attitude which is fine according to me.
Yes we can exclude her hand here because her eyes and her expressions says a lot. i dont find any need of her hand here.
rest is fine for me, nice colours, good focus fine bg and sharpness.
