Hello everyone, practising taking macro shots in our garden; this is the summer perennial 'Rudbeckia'.
This bloom was not quite ready to show off its lovely yellow petals, but I liked the haphazard way the petals were unfolding. Now that we have had the long awaited warmer summery weather, the flowers are looking good.
Thanks for taking a look, your comments are appreciated.
I will be away for a few days so I will catch up with postings etc., when I return. |

Hello Jean
A lovely shot here and if possible then I really believe this flower just oozes character. Nice detail and good colour

Jean Hi:

Great title and apt word..."haphazard"...for the way this flower is opening. Now I will have this image stuck in my mind every time I'm feeling a little shy or haphazard...hehe. Please post another shot when it is fully open so we can know how it turned out! Well seen and captured. Most of all, I like the story within:)

hello Jean
Very interesting title but definitely a great macro of this nice flower in unique shape and style. Good sharpness and color contrast in your shot. A fine post.
