I was sat reading my book at the beach (as you do), and I used the sand to keep the page open... well it just looked really good so i took a pic of it, and thats what came out.

Good idea, well done, very interesting Nicola.

Hi, Nicola,

Well seen, and well executed! The narrow DOF blurring the letters in the foreground makes this an exceptionally nice effect

Greetings from Atlanta,

Don

hi cngray,

excellent composition, good idea and good details on the sand. hope sand don't get in your camera, well done, original post.

ps, i have read that book, the butler did it, in the dining room, with a candelabra, lol.

regards c.d.

Hi Nicola,

Interesting bookmark! :D I really like all of the fine details of the sand. You could at least let us know the title of the book! LOL

Hi Nicola

It's always nice to see something totally different. I think the off-centre placement of the "sand wedge" is nice - it really helps the composition. Excellent.

Cheers.
John

nicola, very interesting indeed...like the way you look at things.
