[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
this is a double sided, farriers, hoof rasp. this side is very rough and is used for smoothing the edge of the hoof once it has been trimmed. the other side is more like a file and it is used to give the finishing touches to the hoof. the sides are ridged to help make grooves in the hoof for shoeing purposes, i believe.

my friendly farrier gave this to me as she was only going to throw it away because it was 'blunt'. you certainly wouldn't use this on your bunions, blunt or not.

practically the same pp as yesterday.

Super nice looking Rasp here Brian! Yikes, these things are SHARP...they will take the hide right off you! Nice details Nice exclusive focus on the horse in the picture! Excellent tones here as always!

hi trampas,

good idea, but a poor composition. if your dof was bigger the end of the file/rasp would be in focus, the detail in the fg is very good. perhaps the small kb size (59 from an allowed 300) has lost some detail. the image seems squint, and the light is mainly on the left. good b/w conversion of an original idea though.

regards c.d.

Brian Hi:
Wonderful artistic composition. Your presentation has an amazing POV, it is creative and original and as the popular saying goes (IT IS THINKING OUT 0F THE BOX). It is original and aristic and very well presented in your sepia style which is photographicly aristic.
Thanks for the note, as well.
Congratulations, nicely done, my friend.

Great PoV here -- that, together with the shallow dof does give it a 3D effect
