[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
i would like to take this opportunity to apologise for my posting yesterday.
it was my(feeble)attempt at humour. it was posted after a conversation that i had with mr.KA.
a lesson has been learnt.
thank you for your honest critiques.

today's posting is from a series i took in july. the items are my own as i am a cowboy at heart.
the badge is a replica of the san carlos, apache police.
the drinking cup is made of pewter and was purchased in Austria.
the focus is on the cup hence the dof.

i hope this makes up for yesterdays debacle?

This is classic Trampas and I envy you that you have a recognisable style. I've had that discussion with others before, Rew especially, and it's something I wish I could develop.

Here, I like the colour treatment, the DOF and especially the fact the badge is cropped at the sides - to show the whole thing would have been too standard. This is a nice shot, I can see it framed and on a wall somewhere.

Yesterday was not a debacle - it was a quiet TL day and as mentioned in the forums, there were site access problems. I think that when you have an individual style that, along with the territory, comes the fact that not everything you do will please everyone. Don't change, keep doing your own thing - genuinely it is a skill to be recognised by your shot and not by the name underneath the thumbnail.

(sorry, only minor thing here is the small light patch, top left...that niggles me a smidge...sorry!)

Hi Brian

Kilted is right, you can certainly notice your style.
Wish I could be this creative.
Nicely set up and taken.
PP is excellent as usual.
Well done.

Regards Derek
