[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
that time of year when the corn is ripe and the rush to harvest before the rains arrive. i love the classic shots of sunlit landscapes against the stormy skies so i thought would this work as well if i isolated part of the landscape. actually the cheat was me holding up some corn i had growing in the garden against the sky in full sun. comments welcome.

Hi Sue,
I love your picture. Great POV and DOF. It it very moody because of the black clouds in the background and the sun still shining on the corn. No matter if "cheated" or not - I think this is a wonderful strong capture.

Nicely composed Sue, the dark clouds realy set the corn off, sharp with lots of detail in the stems and ears.
