[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As the rainclouds closed in around me on dartmoor, I hurried back to my car and grabbed a quick shot of it against the dark sky.

I used a 2 stop grey grad filter on the lens, and also the pop-up flash on the camera to reflect off the car.

In photoshop I have boosted levels and red saturation to increase the effect.

What do you think?

Hi Andy

Very effective. The combination of grad filter and the post-processing really make the car leap out at you.

Cheers.
John

hello Andy,

i just love the atmosphere from looking at your shot here.. i love the bg.. that's what i need to start my monday morning at work.. :) the red car is a lovely contrast.. good job.. tfs..

greeting, terry

Well Andy, the car jumps litterally at you , this is what i think , it looks so vividly red against that dark sky that you may have overdone it a tad n the saturation department but frankly the effect is stunning to say the least! So i think you've achieved some good result overall here ,
Carol

Should submit for an add idea - impressive! -Kelly

Good work on the colours - the red really does leap out of the screen. My only criticism though would be that there is too much of the "big sky" or the border is too large - having to scroll down to see all the picture is a bit of a bind.
Thanks for sharing
Mark
