[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Could this be a repeat of the wartime practice of removing the road signs to foil the invaders? Is London under imminent threat? Or perhaps it’s just a clever marketing ploy to boost the sales of GPS systems. no it is a wartime museum display can you gues where.

Hello Sue,
Your creations are wonderful and detail, those are unique. Your creativity is as one sees unerschöpfbar. It pleases me much. Love of greetings from Freising.

Hi Sue
Very orgional photo
Good comp.

An original picture and one which is really eye catching - superb use of the light to keep the blacks dark and the wood light.

My guess for the museum would be Harrogate - purely on the assumption that the signs do depict real distances (plus its in North Yorkshire!).

Thanks for sharing
Mark

Hello, Sue.

You rotten tease! You've had me "Googling" for at least half an hour - is it "Eden Camp"? Reminds me of the Sunday Times "Where am I" competitions I used to do all the time!

Anyway, I'm probably wrong, though I did think it fitted in with the mileages from York and Scarborough. In any case, this is a fine picture, very sharp and clear with nice shadows cast across the wooden signs.

And a fine, though frustrating, note to go with it!

Best Wishes,

John.

realy like this shot SUE very unusuall comp well done tfs

Haha, nice capture! Good lighting and detail, nice tight framing on the clutter of signs.

If I have half an hour spare I might try using Google Earth to figure it out. ;)

Now this is confusion.. which way to go...LOL..

Lovely capture of the signs, very eyecatching.. pity I didnt see it when I was there.... I would say its um err.. 17 miles from York.. hehe.

Good one.

Cheers
Dawn.

Hi Sue - Great photo and question! I'm going for 'eden camp' as well...but only because you left a big clue, and I didn;t use google :-)

Unsure how to critique this other than it's well done and shows good imagination. Interesting shot!
