i took this yesterday whilst having a walk through the stable yard. i have seen this everyday but i never really noticed it before.(if that makes any sense?)

shot in colour, converted to b/w with added sepia tinge. lowered saturation and contrast.

it is different from my others but i hope you like it?

original image is in ws

Brian Hi:

I like the change of pace. Your notes are wonderful and so is the image because "You Did See It". Very interesting hinges and bolt locks in additional to the textures of the concrete siding (the name of it skips me - a senior moment I am sure).
Congratulations, nicely done, my good friend

Hello Brian,
this is a simple but beautiful picture. The black & white effect works very good here.
Regards
Helmut

Simple. Nicely composed. Would be good if sharpened a little more, but a nice shot anyway!

Hi Brian,
The photography makes that we observe our environment with more acuity, isn't it? Like if the lens of our camera had opened the eyes to us! We don't look at the world in the same way as before. Thus what, yesterday, appeared banal, today, takes an another dimension.
This is the case, here!
I am sure that you have seen all potential of this wall and windows, converted it in sepia into your eyes before to have shot it. And the result is absolutely beautiful and unique! Print it and hang it on your walls!
Bravo!

Hi Brian,
lovely capture that you show.

I actually already thought of opening a theme on doors. If I do, I'll definitely add this one to it.

The light sepia touch is what I like the most in this lovely composition.

Hello, Brian.

Yes, this is a bit different from your usual pictures, but I like it.

I think it could perhaps be just a tad sharper and I would have increased the contrast a little too.

I think you took that at the widest setting of your zoom (?6.3mm) as there seems to be a little barrel distortion at the left side.

Good shot, though!

Best Wishes,

John.

Hello Brian! Original work. Good capture. and frame. Interesting idea. Good luck!
