Hello Bryan

A lovely rose here but I think that this time the BG is a tad too grainy and a fair amount of detail is lost on the petals because the red is over saturated (red is notoriously difficult to capture) I have done a very quick workshop for you, I hope you dont think I have ruined your pic but it gives a softer feel with more detail.

The flower is beautiful Bryan, a very heavy cropped here my friend. Did you use a tripod for this shot? That is my problem to my macros, I don't use tripod :-) Experts are using tripod when using macro shot. Well, they said practice makes perfect. No practice no expert.
