[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
was doing a photoshoot of 2 days at Wimbledon, on the last evening the VIPs arrived for the prize ceremony... once that was over, well, as a photographer, you are ALWAYS on the 'look-out' for some extra and more creative images?
One came in wearing this hat (the optimist?), the other had been holding onto his umbrella the entire day (the pessimist?)
LOL, I might just upload the owner of the hat...
thanx and stay optimistic! M, (*_*)

Hi Magda,
the exposure has been very well handled.
There is good detail to be seen in the plain white table cloth area (which can be tricky and tend to over-expose) as well as the hat.

Well done. Best regards, Daniel

Hi Magda,
I do agree with Daniel, the exposure is very good! Excellent idea for illustrating the optimism and pessimism concept!
How interesting for you to make a photoshoot of this prestigious event.

Hi Magda

Yeh, I'm first! Superb sharpness, dof & contrasted lighting, with good colour & composition of the hat & umbrella. Well managed exposure level, too with no oe. Tfs!

Hi Magda, :0) and :0) for optimist and pessimist.
For you a great BRAVO

Hey Magda, haven't saw any of your work recently, partially cause I haven't been around too much.
It is shots like this one that I feel you can tell a true photographer from a happy snapper! Such a simple composition, but it just works so well.

I like the "proper" feel in this shot, with the items placed just so on the crisp white fabric. The simple colors and composition complete the look perfectly. Your pessimist/optimist note is fun to contemplate while soaking in the impression of the image. Excellent and enjoyable:)

Hello Magda,

WE VERY GLAD THAT YOU ARE COMING BACK, DEAR FRIEND!!!!!

Wonderful composed things. Fine lighting and and color.
Nice description, as always!

Malik & Mary.

Very nice creamy colour combination. Love it. It makes me think of the time of the India colonies in the old time.
Nice and natural material and colour. Also a nice classical for a composition. And the elements are well displayed and captured from a good distance subject/sensor plane.

Good control on light. Great details.

Cheers and hope you are well.

Yan

ps: I don't see aberration in the colour, it is just the colour of the cotton that is showing more on the side of the umbrella, I blew up the pic in CS3 to make sure. And when we look all around the hat, we see that the cotton has a slight pinkish tone to the cream.

Nice work Magda, excellent sharpness here, love the level tones. I do see a problem that often snags me and it's that pesky aberration that occurs at the fringes of the lens, in this shot I can see it at the brim of the hat, on the left side..It appears as a red line, almost a red fringe. What causes that? It often keeps my photos from being accepted at stock photography places. It truly is only visible against the black of the umbrella! nice work, good to see you again!
