This pic was the result of a weather aborted night shoot - I had gone out late to try some HDR shots of the city but soon as I stepped out the door the rain began to fall - typical.
I ended up in a layby on the A1 just north of Newcastle listening to some rock CD's and taking shots out the window!!!
I had to steady myself against the door to take the necessary 1 second exposure without flash.
PP work - selective sharpening of the instrument panel, also darkened the pixels up around the mileage reading so it was more visible. Selective playing with curves and levels outside the car but couldn't do much with it due to foul weather!. Minor crop and resize then slight unsharp mask.
