[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took this a number of weeks ago at the Selkirk Common Riding
After the horse parade through the town they cross the River Ettrick and then ride up the Linglie Glen, this was taken as the horses arrive in the first field.

Using Paint Shop Pro X2
Cropped the image.
Clonned out the people standing in the background.
Created another layer of only the rider, lightened this layer as they were quite dark.
Merged the layers.
High pass sharpen.
Resized for TL.
Added a border.

nice action shot Derek well captured i was actually thinking of putting much the same shot on but mines was at the toll pretty sure its the same horse and rider so must have got roud safley tfs

A small horse or a tall pony Derek. Perhaps a wee bright in patches on the horses coat but a well composed image. Love the blue eyes and a fine addition to the theme,
