[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Everyone,

thanks for the feedback on my last posting using HDR for the first time! Interesting to hear everyone's view on it. This is another shot from the same place in the Elan Valley, Mid Wales, again using HDR.

Have a great weekend and thanks for looking...

(sorry i've lost the exif data on this, can't quite figure out how to keep it attached to the file in Photomatix. If anyone knows how, id love to know, cheers!)

Nice photo Paul. I was there earlier this week and the weather wasn't anywhere near as nice as this!

TFS!

This technique is fascinating. Such extremes sitting side by side,The scene is great. It would be interesting to see how the technique would work in BW.
Great use of the wide angle.

Stunning light Paul. Very beautiful. This is a great example of how HDR should be used. Composition is great except for stone railing of the bridge (or building) in the lower left of the photo. A bit distracting. Great photo otherwise!

Hi Paul,

By the POV, DOF and perspective you almost give the impression you're about to fly over this beuatiful landscape. It looks very special! Beautiful colours, lighting and details.
Very well done!

TFS Greetings Simone

Beautiful! Terrific HDR work here Paul, powerful and dramatic delivery of a beautiful scene. The balancing effect brings out rich, deep saturation throughout the frame. Awesome work.

Hi Paul

Wow! I'm liking your HDRs! Fantastic colours, POV and composition. I kind of find the railing a bit distracting - but overall, a beauty!

Esther

Hi Paul..great shot...wonderful perspective..Nice light and details...great work.

Roger

Hi Paul. Your HDR shots are sweeping away any negativity I have of the medium. You have certainly nailed it with this one. Excellent work. Thanks for sharing.

Regards Phil.

Hi paul,
Maybe a little heavy on the saturtion, but the HDR effect in this photo is really good. It feels smooth and realistic. I like all the differnt lines and the wonderful archtecture. This looks like a awesome place to visit and explore. There are so many small details that can make great photos. A HDR will always loose its EXIF data, since its a combination of more than one photo. Just copy the date from the orinal RAW.
