Good detail, Great DOF , POV, light and composition of a popular subject. The framing is good since it does not detract from the subject and adds to visual delight.

Amazing and original composition Mark.
The focus is spot on, some superb diffuse light you have going on here.
Everythign came together. Excellent work!

Hi Mark,
I like the detail and colour. But I feel the butterfly is perhaps too central..

Best regards, Daniel

This is to make me jalouse or not :-) Perfect sharp this in contrast of my today's posting same butterfly different result. Good to know increasing the ISO to 800 ASA has a great result.
Perfect image Mark!

Bonjour Mark,
Superbe cliché ! De beaux détails et une position originale qui nous permet d'admirer pleinement ce papillon. Bravo.
Amicalement.

Pascalie.

A good capture of the Tree Nymph butterfly - great DOF, sharp details in the wings and good control of exposure to retain the contrast between the black and white in the wings.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

One of your best EVER Mark! LOVE how he is just hanging there, really nice light focused on just him, really great all around shot!

WOW nice light and exposure
TFS

isn't it amazing that this camera shows little or no noise at 800 iso... or even at 1600!!
I have this "monster" too now... only for less than a day, and I already LOVE this camera....

I really like this delicate image, the light is really magic and the vignetting is great.

Cheers!
Anneke

Hi Mark
You did quite well. The pov is very good here, helps to portray all the beautiful colours. And the light is very good too. I'll soon post a similar photo but not quite as good as yours, since my camera is just a tiny thing and because there was a very strong wind. Cheers for now,
Vicky
