Hi
Picture of a cockatiel who lives here at the park at Pet's corner. He lives in an aviary which will help explain the lines in the bg.
"The Cockatiel (Nymphicus hollandicus), also known as the Quarrion and the Weero, is the smallest and genuinely miniature cockatoo endemic to Australia. They are prized as a household pet throughout the world and are relatively easy to breed. As a caged bird Cockatiels are second in popularity, to only the Budgerigar."

I feel that the picture is slightly on the dark side, however, when contrast/exposure adjusted it made his crest too over-exposed. The crest is still oe in this picture. Time for me to start practicing more i guess.....
PP - Put through neat image to remove noise, cropped slightly, sharpened, colours and highlights adjusted. Frame and text added then resized for tl.
Thanks for looking
cheers

Hi Linzi,
Great macro shot of this bird, perfect sharpness and details, well positioned subject. Its colours re amazing, it's good to see that it's so vibrant. Well presented, TFS!
Greetings,
Kristof
Hi Linzi
This is a good close up. I dont think it is too dark. The colours of the bird itself are ok.
We have had 2 cockatiels over the years, one of them being a grey one just like this one.
