Oh cool!! I wish we had some of these around here! Nice shot Mark! A beautiful butterfly for sure! A little noisy on the BG, I wonder what it would do to his wings if you removed noise... I may do WS!

Well one thing I love about this site is the images that are shown of things I have never seen and this certainly is one of them. What a lovely butterfly this is and your capture is superb. Nice sharp detail, good lighting and a well balanced composition. No need to search for a real one now I have seen this then :-)

fantastic macro, beautiful butterfly. In my ignorance I am ashamed to say i did not know we had such magical creatures here in the UK. Your shot ably demonstartes why it is named a glasswing butterfly.
