Hello everyone,a kind of follow up to my shot 'Feeling shy'; the Rudbeckia flowers have opened fully and been showing their sunny faces for three or more weeks.

I played around with Effects in my processing and selected 'oil paint' once again.[Brush width 8,variance 20 and vibrance 2.]
Still recognisable as rudbeckia but with a little twist.
Hope that you like it.
Thanks for looking.

The painterly effect of this is lovely and it seems that the flowers have even more of a glow this way
Great posting

I like the dramatic effect of you PP. Often the result of these kinds of filters is "over the top" - here it works well. Well done.

Nice artwork here Jean, very beautiful flowers..mine are all burnt up! The heat, the dry! But I had them for a while! Nice details, not sure I would have "painted" them, but artistic shots are nice too!

Hello Jean,
I like this frame filled bright offering More stunning than mellow though! :D
Your pp work has crated a graphical effect.
Bev

Hi Jean,
Beautiful Rudbeckia flowers nicely composed and presented for the theme, Exellent POV. and details, good colors and sharpness..
Very well done,
Michel

Hello Jean,

I just had to come in on this one as Ruddbekia is one of my all time favourite flowers. After all this rain, and lack of sun, those in my garden are only just in flower!
The effect of your pp work has given it an altogether painted effect and almost magnifies their abundance. Well worked.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

A nice effect your PP work has created Jean and the flowers still very recognizable. Good even colour and a well composed image,
David

The halo should be there in my image but if you look carefully at the top left hand borders you can see more imperfections. A repost this evening I feel.

Hi Jean,
Well suited to theme, Good pp work as oil painting.
Well contrast of yellow with green and black

Hello Jean

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

hi Jean

Very cheerful yellow mellow in this presentation. Looks like eyes all watching me!

tfs, bill

This is a superb composition and colour scheme to apply this effect to - it's created a very impressive piece of art.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

I can't help but be drawn to images like this, with these beautiful "black-eyed susans" reminding me of where I grew up. The oil paint filter was a good choice, creating a lovely visual effect that works well with the group of blossoms and giving them a fine art look. Very appealing and well done!
