[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While I was taking this photo I was being eaten alive by Midges.

Kylesku is a small settlement 33 miles north of Ullapool on the shores of two sea lochs, Loch Glendhu and Loch Glencoul. The most striking feature of Kylesku, apart from the wonderful scenery, is the Kylesku bridge opened in 1984 by the Queen. It makes a graceful sweep over the two lochs and effectively made travel to this north western part of Scotland a whole lot easier although it did mean that the former ferry was put out of business.

Una profundidad bestial y contrastes muy marcados..

Hi Douglas ,
Great composition, sharp details. The frame just sets it of. To take shots in that area of Scotland you will have to have very thick skin and a good spray to keep the midges away. Well done and TFS.

Jon

Wonderfully, somewhat surreal, well composed photo of this bridge through time. Great dramatic POV. Clouds are perfect. A very beautiful photograph that keeps drawing you to the far shore. Well done.

Larry

The D300 shines through again with its vibrant colour Douglas :) Nice composition and foreground detail.

Excellent Douglas! That bridge just takes your eyes and swings them right across the pic! PERFECT lead in line, wonderful wide angle shot and as always your pp work makes the thing so artistic and pleasing to the eye!
