Hello again to everyone on TL,I have had a very busy summer (not that i'd call the weather summer)so not realy had the time to play on TL like i'd hoped. I'm back now i hope.
This picture i took today as i was out trying my new lenses. Very happy i am too.
Quick trip down the road to good old Stover country park and lucky for me ther was a Heron in a good spot for my first snap.

Hi Codge,
This is a great capture from good POV. the colors & compo is amazing. I like the impression very much.
Regards,
Hikmet
Oh Codge,
you're not kidding. He WAS in a good spot. I LOVE herons and they are reeeeally hard to get a good shot of, but you have managed this one beautifully. Especially with the light being above its head as it is. You have wonderful detail in the feathers and lovely color. I might have been tempted to crop a bit from both sides and put more of a focus on the bird, but it's still a great shot. Many thanks and kind regards,
Shelly
hello Codge,
i like this one.. love the heron perched low on the tree branch so close to the water.. a lovely finding as well.. it created beautiful atmosphere in me.. tfs..
regards, terry
