Hi Codge,
I don't know not a lot of birds unless the have smoking tails :-) but I think to know this is a Crowned Crane.
Perfect picture, the sharpnes is spot on!
Superb colours and contrast. Excellent posting my friend.

A real good shot of this lovely bird who stood still long enough for you to snap away. When I look at the crown of the bird I now understand where chorus girls got their head dress.
