This shows your trademark mastery of saturation and light. Nice graduated levels throughout the shot, beautiful capture of the geometry of sunlit clouds and moss-softened stones. Lovely work.

NX is fun to work with. It recognizes the rich colors produced bu the D300 alright. Having said that the richness of the green FG is ooutstanding and for me is the dominent component.

Hi Douglas,
A breathtaking view and a breathtaking photo. The green seaweed does make the FG even more beautiful. Superb work on the composition using the weed to lead the eye to the golden sun. The transition of the cool to warm colors in perfect. I love the shadows casted by the clouds.

This is just stunning Douglas! Amazing work here, I can see I missed a whole lot while being gone! I need to catch up! LOVE how you used the grad filter here, I need to try this as my experiments without one were dismal! Nice colors, love those rays of light!
