What this is and what colour it should be?

Hi peeps

Well this was the image I intended to post today but not in its original format. Please see the workshop for the answers and the original view.

To achieve this effect I was playing with the filters and clicked "invert colours". Not an effect I have tried before but for me being a Smurf this blue version was irresistable.

So just a bit of fun today to see what effect simple filters can have. I hope you like this one but maybe you prefer the original?

TTFN and thanks for dropping in

kind regards Helen

P.S. In view of the fact that today is supposed to be the Big Bang testing date i felt the spacey abstract image the more suitable to post... oh and did I mention I like the colours lol

A very interesting abstract image... The water drops kind of give the game away, but as you say - simple filters can be lots of fun.

The composition is excellent. A wonderful made picture with very good sharpens. Wonderful water drip on the blooms of the rose.
Regards.

Dear Helen,
It is so true, playing with filters
can be a challenge.
It is a wonderful abstract capture.

Bonjour Helen,
Odile

Hi Helen,

Amazing blue pearls Helen. And great sharpness.
Although I do like the blue I must say that I prefer the peachy rose... In this blue it is not like flower, but more some abstract.... thing... ;-)

Lovely work!

Cheers,
Anneke

Interesting effect,This effect made a black-light effect that IMO more attract than original, follow the effect with highly sharpnesss on the drop of water with good framing.Nice work,TFS.

It has worked like a negative copy of a flower - is it a rose?
A yellow flower?
I do like to play around with my filters at times too Helen.
Good result
Janice

Personally I like the altered colours to this image rather than the original - definately has something "other worldly" about it. A good result from your experiment, and as I'm typing this I assume that the other experiment you referred to hasn't ended the universe!
Thanks for sharing

Hi Helen,
The invert colors creates often great effect! This is the case, here! Very luminous and cold rendering making this rose like a exquisite underwater plant. Very beautifully done! Annie
