I really liked the architectural lines of this prominent historical building on the banks of the river Thames. From this angle, progress does not intrude,if taken from its street side, the London Eye, would appear in the background as a huge Ferris wheel & does not blend well,it takes some of the grandiose appearance away from the houses of parliament.

Hello Ron,

I'm so glad that I persevered with this as it looks so much more interesting full-size than it did in the thumbnails.
The pov is well chosen using the river and the diminishing buildings to draw the eye in.
The details of the H of P are excellent.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

One of the most famous landmark buildings in the world. Nicely captured from this perspective, and your note prompts me to think about how impressive it must have been when it was first constructed - quite literally the heart of an Empire and deservedly grand.

Hi Ronald, Very beautiful photo!
Excellent composition with a great perspective. The low light with this cloudy sky emphasizes the luminous ochre of this majestic architecture! Very interesting and nicely done! Annie

Hello Ron,
A great POV to catch the wonderful architectural features of these venerable buildings, so well placed along the River Thames. Nice soft lighting and very well composed.
have a good WE,

hi Ronald

I must say your shot is really very sharp with good clarity to show really fine detail of this architecture piece of Westminster at the River Thames. The cloudy sky has given a good saturation to the buildings. One of the great shots of this popular attraction. tfs

Hello Ronald,
Superb sharpness and light, and colours, with a great composition. It's amazing the detail you've got in the tower and in the building.
Wonderful work.
